Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: To Fight the Rebels in Indo-China. DESCRIPTION: In the Thai [sic] country in Indo-China, to meet the threat of Communist aggression, young men have been coming in from their villages to volunteer as soldiers; already five thousand have signed on to fight against the Viet-Minh rebels. SHOTLIST: KS. GV Thai natives with countryside in background. Natives walk around their houses, SCU native working a loom. Children leave school, marching out orderly. MS & various shots of Thai natives volunteering for military service to fight against the rebels, various shots of them being issued with ammunition, etc. GV & MS of them marching away with rifles etc. Cut-in Thai women doing a "Dance of Freedom" - traditional.
