- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Snow - Hardships & Fun. DESCRIPTION: Britain’s first cold snap of the winter was certainly pretty severe. Snow trapped vehicles were typical scenes down in the South, near Beachy Head. Hampstead Heath became a little Switzerland with winter sports of all kinds laid on. SHOTLIST: KS. Skiing out of camera. Bulldozers clearing roads near Beachy Head. Person digs out van. Wades through thick snow. At Hampstead, various shots of people skiing & tobogganing. Pushing large snowball. Couple of people dive into swimming pool.
