Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Christmas Time Is Circus Time. DESCRIPTION: At Olympia - a dress rehearsal of the Bertram Mills Circus delighted a special audience of some six thousand children. SHOTLIST: KS. CU clown surrounded with the above title. GVs & various shots of parade, carriage etc. passing across arena. Equestrian team in arena, performers jumping on back of horses. Dogs jump onto running horses. Dogs play football, various shots. Trapeze artist swinging round on rope. Cut-in kid looking up. Guldan’s Bear balances on ball. Elephant balances on ball. Elephants play own orchestra. Balancing on bottles. Elephants shaving man (hosing him after shave only). Cut-in child yawning. Various shots of clowns normal & midget running around arena. Gagging as usual - silent. Cut-in childrens’ expression etc.
