MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Eisenhower in Britain. DESCRIPTION: General Eisenhower’s visit to Britain was a very busy one right from the moment when he was met by Mr Shinwell and the American Ambassador at Northolt. He had consultations with defence chiefs and later Field Marshal Montgomery called on him at his London hotel. He also found time to meet the Newsreels and the Press at Lancaster House. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Eisenhower walks across pavement to Defence Ministry. London Airport, interior - Eisenhower met by Shinwell & Gifford. Group of them.
