MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: British Cars in Monte Carlo Rally. DESCRIPTION: When the cars reach Monte Carlo, they’ve completed a very strenuous road journey of about 2,000 miles; British cars, by the way, did pretty well, winning third prize in the big event and capturing the Riviera Cup, for the light car class. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. British car passes camera on Monte Carlo esplanade. Several shots British cars arriving. CU radiator shows names of cars, Bentley, Jaguar, Bristol, Jowett-Javelin, etc. Various shots of cars being tested for the braking & acceleration tests. GV - two shots - Monte Carlo front. Weather - raining.
