Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Us Navy Version - Flying Saucers. DESCRIPTION: Aboard an American warship in the Pacific, they’re inflating a balloon designed to obtain data for the study of cosmic rays. Now they say that it’s balloons like these that have been mistaken for flying saucers. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Elevated MS large balloon about to be inflated on deck of warship. Various shots of the releasing of balloon partially inflated, various shots of same rising & gradually filling out.
