- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Shah’s Wedding. DESCRIPTION: The magnificence of his palace in Tehran certainly afforded the appropriate setting for the Shah’s wedding; and, to the world-wide interest naturally aroused by a Royal romance was added the historic splendour of the Persian throne and court. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. MS grounds with guard standing by archway in fore. Various shots of the mosques & palaces in Tehran. Arrivals at the palace, of high officials, diplomats, etc., British Ambassador arrives. Aga Khan & his wife enter building. MS Prince Gholam Reza and wife enter. MS Princess Fatima & Princess Ashraf arrive. Shah arrives, smoking cigarette. Bride Soraya Bakhtiari, arrives, out of carpet, with doorman laying carpet under her nose. Women hold up her train. Interior - bride & groom walk through the Hall of Mirrors, various shots of the Hall of Mirrors, taken all angles. Crowds swarm around couple. Exterior - firework display in city.
