Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Parachute Practice. DESCRIPTION: At Watchfield, Berkshire, British paratroopers have been taking part in a demonstration of combined Allied air transport supply. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. CU type & pan to another, parachutist. Parachutists filing along under fuselage onto Hastings plane. Aerial Hastings & C82s in flight formation. Mix - inside plane, men seated waiting before jump. Aerial - air to air men jumping out. Inside plane men jump out. Over camera - men float to ground, mass parachutists. Halifax? flies over, & paratechnician drops out. CU parachutes supporting same. GV same hitting grounds. Contents - jeep & gun. Plane is a Halifax.
