MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Korea - the Big Drop. DESCRIPTION: From Taegu Airfield, in spite of ground mist at the take-off, United Nations paratroopers made the biggest drop of the Korean war. SHOTLIST: 2 shots paratroopers putting on kit. GV plane taxies in. GV planes takes off. Air to air 3 planes in flight. Interior plane. MS paratroops jump out - General Frank Bowen was first to drop. Air to Air paratroops from plane. In Munsan area on the Imjin River. Air to ground paratroops dropping (x2). Interior plane as equipment is pushed out. Air to air parachutes dropping (x2), air to ground mass of parachutes dropping (x2).
