Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Princess Elizabeth Inspects Grenadiers. DESCRIPTION: Princess Elizabeth, as Colonel of the Regiment, recently inspected the third battalion, the Grenadier Guards. The ceremony was at Chelsea Barracks. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV of parade. Princess Elizabeth walks through the ranks of the Grenadier Guards inspecting same, into camera shots, & pans. Elevated MS as Princess walks across parade ground. Princess Elizabeth mounts dais. GV marchpast, several shots, SCU of them marching, cut-ins of Princess Elizabeth on dais. GV of the Guards lined up on ground, officers shouting present arms order. GV Guards on order marching forward in one line & halting, giving three cheers for Princess Elizabeth.
