- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Cinema Seats Tax Appeal. DESCRIPTION: Councillor Mears and Mr Fuller, respectively President and General Secretary of the Cinematograph Exhibitors Association, saw the huge petition off. Three and a Quarter Million signatures were collected in twelve days. The petition was being presented to the Commons by Colonel Crosthwaite-Eyre, MP. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Forms being packed, bound with strings. Councillor Mears & Mr Fuller watch package of petition forms being loaded onto lorries. Lorries leave & drive across Trafalgar Square into Whitehall, arrival at Houses of Parliament. Unloading packages, & carrying into House. Watching is Colonel Crosthwaite-Eyre, MP. Lorries have large poster pasted on the side.
