MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Jet Flying Boat Visits Festival. DESCRIPTION: Arriving at dawn from Cowes, the ‘Saunders Roe AI came down on the Thames in Woolwich Reach. She’s believed to be the only jet flying-boat in the world and is the first jet aircraft to alight on London river. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV sunrise over Woolwich Reach. GV ditto. MS Jet Saunders Roe AI landing on river. Taxiing along river. Being towed up river, past the Bounty. Under Tower Bridge. Alongside Festival South Bank site, Festival Hall & Skylon.
