Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Oil Crisis Scenes. DESCRIPTION: Persian mobs tear down Anglo-Iranian Oil Company signs as Families of British technicians are flown out of Abadan. While demonstrations are going on in Tehran, a British employee shows Persians how to shut off the flow of oil in the refinery. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. CU chimney stacks of oil refinery. Persians tear down signs etc. in streets, & on buildings. British families board plane, another being carried aboard on stretcher. Mauritius stands by in Shatt-el-Arab River, oil refinery in background. In Tehran, crowds of Persians demonstrate in streets. At refinery, British worker shows a Persian how to turn off oil supply. CU same.
