MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Paris Celebrates 2,000 Years. DESCRIPTION: A Garden Party in the Bois de Boulogne, attended by the President and the his wife, was one of many celebrations marking the 2,000th birthday of the City of Paris. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV grounds of Auriol’s private residence. Various shots of diplomatic corps walking round the grounds (Bagatelle, Bois de Boulogne). Auriol with Moscow Mayor. M Auriol with other guests. Various shots of garden party. At the Invalides, Auriol with other officials watching march pasts of foreign bands, which includes Moroccan & High Light Infantry Bands. Night shots of firework display in Paris.
