- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Horrors of Chemical Warfare. DESCRIPTION: At Fort Hood, Texas, a strongly-built pill-box holds out against a realistic attack during America’s First Armoured Division manoeuvres. Then, a company of flame-throwers part of the Chemical Warfare Unit, went into action, and they soon made the fortification untenable, no doubt. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. MS pillbox. Machine gun fire from pillbox. America’s First Armoured Division run through undergrowth, approach pillbox, firing flame-throwers at same, all angles, finishing on flame-throwers being directed at camera - into camera.
