MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Brilliant Rallies in Tennis Doubles Final. DESCRIPTION: The Americans, Schroeder and Trabert, met Sedgman and McGregor of Australia in the New South Wales doubles final. After many fine rallies, game, set and match went to Sedgman and McGregor, together with congratulations from the runners-up. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Four walk onto court - Schroeder & Trabert (on left) & Sedgman & McGregor. Americans on far side, rally in progress, very good. Sedgman & McGregor serving, various rallies, knock the Americans on the ground. Final game & set. Four shake hands. Cut-in crowds applauding.
