- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Flying Enterprise Nears Port. DESCRIPTION: The Story of the Flying Enterprise’s progress was making almost hourly news, as the powerful tug Turmoil towed her slowly towards port. When the John W Weekes came in to Plymouth, the ship’s company had eye-witness stories to tell, and we asked Commander Thompson, the destroyer’s captain, about the conditions in which Dancy, the mate of the Turmoil, got aboard the ship and about Captain Carlsen’s demeanor. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Aerial of Flying Enterprise listing to port. Various aerials of FE under tow by tug Turmoil with French tug Abeille 25 and destroyer Willard Keith keeping them company. John W Weekes comes into Plymouth at dawn, alongside quay. Several shots crew on ship side. CU Commander Thompson being interviewed - giving an eye witness account of the scene.
