- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sea Takes Its Toll. DESCRIPTION: The sport of water-skiing finds many Mexican enthusiasts; and, in a recent tournament with American experts at Acapulco, the highlight was the jumping contest. At Freshwater Beach, Sydney, the big surf took over complete control during the beach carnival. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Girls holding water skis down steps towards beach. Several shots of water skiing, one successful, others crash. This is at Acapulco, Mexico. At Freshwater Bay, Sydney, life-saving teams rowing out to sea in high breakers. Several crashing, one gets through. Being swept back to the beach, all crashing from time to time, sea turning them over & one boat crashes into another.
