Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Winter Olympics. DESCRIPTION: In the pair-skating for Olympic honours in Oslo, Jennifer and John Nicks gave the best performance for Britain, being placed fourth. At Holmenkollen, near Oslo, a record crowd, estimated at 150,000, saw the spectacular ski-jumping event. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV crowds walking to ski jump run. At ice rink, Jennifer & John Nicks pair skating, various shots. At Holmenkollen, ski-jumping in progress, various shots taken from the top, half-way down & from the bottom of the run, also shows the enormous crowds.
