DESCRIPTION: News from Suva, the capital of the Fiji Islands, provides a story of remarkable loyalty and courage - nothing less than the offer to send troops to Malaya. Already, the first battalion has left Suva, after a smart March-past. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Main street of Suva. Crowds on quayside. Fijians working on farm, sugar farm. Also cutting down bananas. Marchpast of Fiji troops along main road. Quayside, troopship alongside, various farewells, by wives, relatives etc., some very emotional, weeping etc. Fiji troops go aboard, ship pulls away, troops waving, from quayside those left behind wave back, ship getting under way.
