MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: England Retain Calcutta Cup - Rugger. DESCRIPTION: Murrayfield was packed tight for the rugger international between Scotland and England - the Calcutta Cup match, which stayed with England who won the match by 19 points to three. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Crowd shot. Ditto. Cordial kicks-off for Scotland. England attack & score try through Winn. Hall converted. General play in first half, Scotland make several good runs. England kick-off, Evans scores a try. Evans helped off field, bleeding nose. Woodward streaks down field to score another try for England. Kendall-Carpenter scores a try for England. Crowd cheering. Dummy - shot looks like a drop-goal - but isn’t.
