- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Queen in Edinburgh. DESCRIPTION: One of the most important events of Her Majesty’s stay in Edinburgh was installation of new Knights of the Most Ancient Order of the Thistle in the Chapel in st. Giles’ Cathedral. The Royal garden party at Holyrood House was the great social occasion of the visit. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV St Giles Cathedral. Queen arrives at cathedral. Alights, walks to Signet Library. Walking to St Giles in robes of the Order of the Thistle, also present the Duke of Gloucester. SCU St Giles. Leaving in procession after ceremony. Royal Garden Party in grounds, various shots of people, Queen mingles with the people.
