MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Garden Party. DESCRIPTION: Some 7,000 guests had the honour of being invited to the Queen’s afternoon party at Buckingham Palace; it was a great social event, the first garden party of Her Majesty’s reign to be given in London. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV Palace, arrival entering the palace. Various shots in the grounds, shows the Queen with Princess Margaret, Duke of Edinburgh, Duke & Duchess of Gloucester with her. Various shots of the Queen with guests, etc. Also present Princess Marie Louise.
