MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Locke’s Third Open. DESCRIPTION: At Royal Lytham St Annes, Bobby Locke won the Open for the third time with a total of 287. Finishing early, he was obliged to sit and wait for the other scores to come in, however, neither Thomson of Australia (second) or Fred Daly (third) could do better. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS.
