Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Boreham Wood Motor Racing. DESCRIPTION: Picture of the Trophy Race, in which Formula One and Formula Two cars run concurrently, tell the story of the ruthless rain at Boreham. Once again both BRM’s failed to complete the course and the race was won by Villoresi, driving a Ferrari. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. SCU Cup (trophy). Crowds - raining. Start of race & racing. No 26 racing (BRM) Ken Wharton at wheel. Mike Hawthorn (No 4) racing in Cooper Bristol. Villoresi No 17 races ahead & wins. Receives laurels from Mrs Gerald Lascelles, & a kiss.
