MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: HMS Wave Refloated. DESCRIPTION: It was at St Ives, that the minesweeper HMS Wave went aground. With the aid of a balloon float in he hull, however, she was hauled off during a high tide. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. GV St Ives. Various shots of the ship showing the holes in side also the smashed propeller, ship high & dry on the rocks. Ship alongside houses - No Parking sign. Ship being pulled off rocks. GV of it lying off St Ives.
