- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Miss World Contest. DESCRIPTION: The beauty contest for the glorious title of Miss World was a big attraction at London’s Lyceum Ballroom. The judges included Richard Todd, Glynis Johns and Petula Clark. They chose May Flodin (Miss Sweden), who was presented with a silver rose bowl and a cheque by Mr Charles Eade.
