Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Visit to Home Air Command. DESCRIPTION: There was an impressive array of Naval aircraft, when the Queen visited the Home Air Command at Lee-on-Solent, though the weather was distinctly unkind for such an occasion. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Queen’s car along ranks of crews, title fades out. Car stops, Queen alights, greeted by Admiral Lambe. Walks along ranks, chats (silent) to crews. On control tower, watches flypast, including helicopters. Queen’s car drives along cheering naval personnel, men & women.
