MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Melon Tyres. DESCRIPTION: MELON TYRES - From California - a new water melon tyre, called a Roligon. Made of Nylon, rubber and neoprene, it can be driven over anything without discomfort of puncture. It can also be driven over a pedestrian without discomfort (to the pedestrian, that is). SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Girl testing tyre with finger. Weird vehicle fitted with tyres across whole of front and back. Sausage shaped tyres. Vehicle’s tyres go easily over boulders. CU pliable tyre over rock. Vehicle runs over man with no ill effect on him.
