- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Soccer - England V Scotland 2-2. DESCRIPTION: Thousands streamed into the Empire Stadium at Wembley for one of the biggest events of the Soccer Season. In the extra time allowed for the injury to Cox, Scotland’s left-back, Reilly equalised for Scotland to make the final score England 2 - Scotland 2. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Crowd shot. Elevated GV crowds swarming towards stadium - outside. Crowds inside, many Scots. Teams come out. Lord Alexander introduced to them. CU ball on spot. Elevated GV Scotland kick-off. England attack hard. Scotland attack hard. England score through Broadis. Scots attack. Cut-ins of crowds cheering. 2nd half - Scotland attack & from rebound Reilly scores. Finney on wing, passes ball to Broadis who scores. Sammy Cox, Scotland’s left back hurt & carried off field. England attack hard but fail to score. Scotland return compliment & Reilly scores just before end of game. Crowds cheering.
