Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Russia Lifts Austrian Controls. DESCRIPTION: It was a great day for Austria, which, since the war, has been divided into four zones of control, when suddenly the Russians opened their occupation zone to free travel. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Border barrier rising. Various people passing from one control point to another without being stopped by Russian guards, who stand & look on. Cars passing control points. Band marches through street, Russian soldier holds an Austrian baby in his arms.
