- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Japans Worst Floods. DESCRIPTION: Torrential floods have been spreading havoc and loss of life on Kyushu, most southerly of Japan’s main islands. Some five hundred people are believed to have perished. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Rushing water. Various shots of water rushing through over-flowing river banks, over bridges etc. Up to roof tops of houses at Kyushu. Water up to the roof of the houses. Various shots of the Japanese bringing their belongings from the houses, and trekking through the countryside.
