Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: The Korean Truce Signed. DESCRIPTION: At long last, the misery and the bloodshed of the war in Korea has been halted. The truce negotiations had dragged on at Panmunjom for some two years before a final settlement was agreed to. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Troops march across country. Various shots of United Nations troops marching in the snow, sleeping in bags in the snow. Mix to aerial of tent at Panmunjom. General Nam Il SCU of him. Communists & UN representatives arrive, enter building. Interior - signing documents (not the truce armistice). United Nations troops on the march, most American.
