- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Holiday Weather and Crowds - Games. DESCRIPTION: At Cowes, the starting gun made very little difference to the progress of the yachts, which remained stubbornly becalmed. The Duke of Edinburgh arrived too late to compete, but he did see his yacht Coweslip take second place in her event. SHOTLIST: COWES - MS of shore and yachts lying off. MS of yachts. SCU starting gun going off, yachts in background. Crews using paddles to move yachts in becalmed waters. CU Coweslip number 192. Pleasure boat passing through the yachts.
