DESCRIPTION: Another way of spending the holiday was at the White City, where teams from Great Britain and France were competing in a two-day meeting. The highlight of the meeting was the new 4 x 1 Mile relay World record set up by Messr. Chataway, Nankeville, Seaman and Bannister. SHOTLIST: WHITE CITY - Parade of British and French teams. Start of 110 yard relay and finish. Start of 3,000 metres steeplechase. Jump hedges & water. No 3 Johnson wins. Start of 100 yards Bonino of France wins. 1 mile relay start, various shots during same. Relay team that breaks record is Nankeville. Chataway, Seaman and Bannister. Bannister finishes alone. CU of four after race.
