- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Prelude to Farnborough. DESCRIPTION: NEVILLE DUKE’S AIR SPEED RECORD. Squadron Leader Neville Duke, flying a Hawker Hunter jet fighter from Tangmere, has set up a new world air-speed record - subject, of course, to official confirmation. His wife watched from the beach, as he flew low above the sea off the Sussex coast. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Hawker Hunter in flight. Duke in cockpit, puts on helmet. Hawker Hunter takes off.
