- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Churchill’s Birthday & Leaves for Bermuda. DESCRIPTION: Shortly after his birthday, on which gifts and good wishes arrived in a continual stream, Sir Winston Churchill was to leave for the Bermuda Conference. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. MS No 10 Downing Street from Foreign Office (through archway). Crowds outside No 10. CU No 10. Presents arrive, flowers, pictures, cases of champagne, etc. Churchill comes out poses, crowds shout wishes. Churchill’s car drives away, crowds cheer. Slip to London Airport. Canopus awaits. Churchill walks out boards plane. Plane taxies to finish. Preceded by goodbyes from Mrs Eden, also Mr Butler. Churchill & Eden board.
