Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Queen in Panama. DESCRIPTION: From Port Royal, Jamaica, Her Majesty and the Duke left aboard Gothic after their most successful tour of the Colony. At the entrance to the Panama Canal, Cristobal, The Queen and the Duke went ashore. With Colonel Remon, President of Panama, they drove to the city of Colon. Returning to the canal, Her Majesty was keenly interested in the lock system which lowered the ships from the Canal level to the sea. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. LS Gothic lying off Port Royal, Jamaica. LS across sea to Port Royal. Elevated view of launch under way. Elevated view Queen and Duke in same. Queen and Duke come aboard Gothic. Onto deck.
