MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: New French President. DESCRIPTION: French Deputies and Senators, after twelve unsuccessful attempts elected Monsieur Rene Coty as the next President of France. Driving from Versailles, he was greeted in Paris by the retiring President, Monsieur Auriol. SHOTLIST: Cut story - KS. Exterior of Versailles.
