Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Formosa - Chiang-Kai-Shek and Admiral Pride. DESCRIPTION: From Formosa come pictures of Generalissimo Chiang Kai-Shek inspecting some of his forces in the capital, Taipei. America’s Admiral Pride recently met the Chinese Nationalist leader for a conference. SHOTLIST: A shot looking down on vast numbers of Nationalist troops in columns, all cheering the Generalissimo Chiang Kai-Shek. Chiang now seen inspecting the still cheering troops (walking down the columns). A close look at tank crews manning heavy tanks, followed by a GV on tanks during firing practice. Now a close look at Chiang Kai Shek on board a carrier with Admiral of the US 7th Fleet Pride. CU Chiang on the bridge. Various shots of the Seventh Fleet in gunnery practice, and general patrol duties.
