Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Royal Visit to Gloucester. SHOTLIST: GV of the band of the Gloucester Regiment marching. Crowd shot. Duke of Beaufort and the Mayor (Councillor Howard Gibson) greet the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh. VIPs being presented. Queen and Duke in jeep driving through crowds of school-children. At the Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Company’s Works, Duke talks to men. Queen looking at various equipment and carriages. Duke and Queen in finished carriage. GV of gaily decorated streets.
