MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Tragic Le Mans 24 Hour Race. DESCRIPTION: The Le Mans Twenty Four Hour Race, won by Mike Hawthorn in a Jaguar, provided the greatest tragedy in motor racing history. Movietone has omitted the section of the story including the tragic crash and aftermath in deference to the feelings of the cinema public. SHOTLIST: GV cars racing. GV drivers run across to cars.
