Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Sportsman of the Year Award. DESCRIPTION: Show Jumper Pat Smythe was one of the guests of honour, Gordon Pirie, the long distance runner, was the other. The two presentations (on behalf of Sporting Record) were made by Mr Iain Macleod. SHOTLIST: CU the two trophies. CU arrivals of famous sportsmen and women including John Disley, Joe Davis, Donald Campbell, D Cockell, Diane Leather, Dai Rees, Peter May and Billy Wright.
