DESCRIPTION: In Cyprus where the news of the deportation of Archbishop Makarios came as a complete surprise to everyone, immediate reaction on the island was quiet. The reaction in Athens was marked by wild demonstrations by irresponsible students. SHOTLIST: Various shots of locals reading papers. Various shots of paratroops. Bishop of Kitium. ATHENS - Priest being carried along. Slogans etc. Signs torn off. British embassy. Various shots of rioting. Policeman with a gash on his cheek. Union flag burned. LS.
