- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Queen Leaves for Corsica. DESCRIPTION: Awaiting the Queen’s arrival in Corsica, the Royal Yacht Britannia, aboard which the Duke of Edinburgh had been attending Fleet manoeuvres, our Sovereign began her Mediterranean holiday with the Duke. After a brief stay at Ajaccio, the Queen and the Duke with Princess Alexandra, went out to board Britannia for a week’s cruise. SHOTLIST: Shots of the harbour. Various shots of Britannia.
