MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Iraq Giant Barrage. DESCRIPTION: A flight over Samarra, to set the scene. The crumbling tower of an ancient mosque are striking landmarks. It’s there on the Tigris, that one section of Iraq’s vast flood control and irrigation scheme has been carried out - a scheme in which Britain played a leading part. SHOTLIST: Aerials over Samarra.
