Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Troops Plane Crashes. DESCRIPTION: An accident occurred at Stansted Airfield, in Essex, as a York airliner was gathering speed, for the take off. On board were RAF personnel and wives and children of servicemen, who were on their way to Iraq. Two lives were lost and six passengers were injured. SHOTLIST: Scenes of wreckage.
