- MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: Princess in Tanganyika. DESCRIPTION: Far away to the West of Dar-es-Salaam, tribesmen and women awaited the visit of the Princess. On arrival, she was received by the Provincial Commissioner, of the Southern Highlands Province. A great welcome had been organised at Mbeya. It was the Princess’s first stop on her inland tour of the country. She drove around the arena to acknowledge the acclamation. SHOTLIST: Various shots of the native men and women wearing tribal costumes etc. Plane comes into land. MLS children waving Union flags.
