DESCRIPTION: The Queen (as Colonel-in-Chief of the Royal Engineers) visited Chatham, where the Corps was celebrating the centenary of their amalgamation with the Royal Sappers and Miners. SHOTLIST: Queen’s arrival. Guard of honour inspected by Queen. Queen shakes hands with old members of the Corps. The Robert Howe Steam Engine is looked at (soldiers dressed in old fashioned uniform).
