Summary
MOVIETONE CARD TITLE: General Burns and General Dayan. DESCRIPTION: Troops of the Israeli Army have been on the move again. But, this time in a progressive withdrawal from their positions in the Sinai Desert. They are to reform along a new line, leaving a strip between them and the Canal. This region is being taken over by the United Nations Emergency Force and details were discussed between General Burns and General Moshe Dayan. The meeting took place at El Arish in the Sinai Desert. At Haifa Jewish refugees arrived from Egypt. They were some of the 21,000 who had been expelled by the Egyptian Government. SHOTLIST: General Burns shakes hands with General Dayan.
